Back in the 1970s, CBS launched a new Norman Lear project that worked in tandem with the hit show All in the Family. Featuring a black family, The Jeffersons ran from 1975 to 1985, and featured Sherman Hemsley as the bantam rooster-like counterpart to Archie Bunker. It was a massive hit.
This month will be a little different from previous months here on the blog. My wife and I are in the midst of preparing for an international move, so we are, as The Jeffersons‘ theme song famously went, “movin’ on up to the East side.” In our case, it’s the Far East: Thailand. Hence the temple in this week’s photo.
While I have been threatening for thousands of years now to finish and finally publish my next novel, Hot Scenes, I must cheerfully warn you that I only have one chapter left to write. A final edit on my part, a professional edit and book design to follow, and I shall reveal more details as the year progresses. Target publication date, barring any delays, will be in April.
